Therese Madeline Rauner
Highlands, NC - Therese Madeline Rauner, age 88, of Highlands, NC, formerly of New York, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014. She was born in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Anna Kelly Rauner. She had a PhD in Psychology and was an educator at West Point Children's School.
She is survived by her sister, Ann R. Wannamaker of Sapphire, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan R. Docherty.
A memorial service will be held in the spring in New York.
Bryant Grant Funeral Home, Franklin NC is in charge of local arrangements.
