Thomas Brian Kleschka

Thomas Brian Kleschka, 87, of Otto, NC born October 23, 1937, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Gottfried Kleschka, and a sister, Joyce Pasqualyn, of NY.

Tom enjoyed doing woodworking, making stained glass music boxes, designing various projects, building exotic wood tables, restoring his '66 Mustang and '65 Falcon Ranchero. He was a systems programmer for a two-year college in Orlando, FL for twelve years. Tom retired from the U.S. Navy Seabees after twenty years and also the U.S. Postal Service after twenty years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Juanita Kay Neuharth-Kleschka, of Otto, NC, sister-in-law, Patrica Mennenger, of Franklin, NC, brother, Richard LeJava (Arlene), of Centerville, MA, stepdaughter, Berita Cayer (Paul), of Otto, NC, two grandsons, James Fox III, of Otto, NC and Dyland Fox, of Norfolk, VA, his son, Jay Kleschka (Megan), his daughter, Joni Trenda (Mark) and their four children, all of Fountain Valley, CA.

He had a great love for his dog "Bungie" and cat "Rusty".

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue at 851 Lake Emory Rd. Franklin, NC 28734.
