Verlon Buford Burch

Verlon Buford Burch, 73, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015.  A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Buford and Goldia Annie Rachel Dills Burch.

He owned and operated his own electrical business and was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.

Mr. Burch is survived by his companion, Perlita Welsh; five sisters, Dorothy Waldroop of Franklin, Clata Parker of Walhalla, SC, JoAnn Greenwood of Seneca, SC, Patricia Ranki of Westminster, SC and Connie Chaves of Mountain City, GA and four brothers, Clarence Burch of Westminster, SC, James Burch of Franklin, NC, Tommy Burch of Mt. Rest, SC and Jerry Burch of Conover, NC.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Frank Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Dryman officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Doyle Waldroop, James Burch, Christopher Burch, Rodney Burch, Justin Burch, Eric Burch, David Burch and Adam Ranki.  The family will receive friends Friday from 11:30 ‑ 1:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
