W. L. (Billy) Boatwright

Warne NC - W. L. (Billy) Boatwright, age 72, of Warne, NC passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at his home.
He was a native of West Palm Beach, FL and the son of Carolyn Grier Boatwright of Franklin, NC and the late William Thomas Boatwright. He was owner and operator of a dairy farm and a hoof trimmer. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Kay Boatwright, two sons, Dwayne Boatwright of Warne, NC and Keith Boatwright of Marble, NC, one daughter, Lesa Horton of Hurricane Mills, TN, three brothers, Tommy Boatwright and Richard Boatwright both of FL and Jeff Boatwright of Franklin, NC, four grandchildren, Ashley Ray, Kaley Boatwright, Tyler Boatwright and Trevor Boatwright.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Franklin, NC. The Rev. Barry Bowman will officiate.
