Wade Higdon

Franklin, NC - Wade Huffman Higdon, age 89, of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, August 08, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born in Macon County, the son of the late William R. and Georgia Corbin Higdon. He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Higdonville Baptist Church. He loved his church and the outdoors. He loved the Tarheels.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 11 at 3:00PM at Higdonville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 11 from 2:00 3:00PM, one hour prior to the service at Higdonville Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Higdonville Baptist Church, c/o Harold Rayborn, 1459 Cat Creek Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
