Willard Luther "Geat" Bradley

Franklin, NC - Willard Luther "Geat" Bradley, age 89, of Bradley Creek Road, Franklin, NC passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 at his residence. He was a native of Macon County, the son of the late Will and Timmy Shepard Bradley. He was a Sgt. for the US Army Air Force. He worked at the Nantahaha Creamery for 20 years and was employed at Biltmore Dairy's and Rabun Mills. Mr. Bradley was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where he served as a former Sunday School Superintendent, Training Union Director and he was very active in Sunday School. Geat enjoyed cattle trading.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee McCall Bradley; one daughter, Brenda Bradley of Franklin, NC; one son, Terry W. Bradley and his wife, Mary P. of Franklin, NC; one sister, Bedell Crawford of Franklin, NC; granddaughter, Rebecca Pruitt and her husband Rev. C. Allen of Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Kate Bradley, a sister, Mary Lee Bradley and two brothers, Olan Bradley and Arlen Bradley.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 4 at 3:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Stevens , Rev. Judson Hall and Rev. Brandon Breedlove officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Charles "Dink" Marlin McCall, Bobby McArthur McCall, Bruce Schuler, Gilmer Breedlove, Max Breedlove and John Mitchell will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 4 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
