William L. Davis

William L. Davis, 79, of Franklin, NC and Lake City, FL, passed away May 17, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Ruth Alford Davis.

Mr. Davis was an old fashioned and hardworking man. He owned an Automotive Business and did break and front-end work. He loved animals especially dogs, chopping wood for his fireplace, and visiting the ocean. Mr. Davis attended Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Tampa, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Davis; his daughter, Gloria Davis Ake (Stephen) of Tampa, FL; a grandson, Samuel Ake; and a sister, Elaine Davis.

"Remember only the happy times we shared.

But mourn me not,

for I have gone home to our Lord.

My time of suffering was short,

just time enough to pray for the Lord's mercy and

forgiveness for my sins.

And to thank Him for letting my wife and daughter be with me,

as He took me home."
