William James Moran Iii

William J Moran III, 71, passed away July 24, 2015.

Born in Winter Garden, FL on February 19, 1944, he retired from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  He loved growing vegetables, walking in the mountains, and trivia.  He could fix almost anything and gladly did so for others.

He is preceded in death by his son, William James Moran IV, his parents, William J Moran II and Vida Bell (Denham) Moran.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Claire McGee Moran; his granddaughter, Sydni Erin Moran; her mother, Kym Moran; an aunt, Carolyn Mott, and cousins that he loved dearly, Patrick Moran and wife Martha, Peggy Swanner, Janice Holms and husband John, Maureen Lane and husband Malcolm, Floyd Kron, Bobby and Frances Killgore, Kathy Parkhill, JO and Georgia Haynes, John and Georgia Mott, Henry "Buster" Moran, Jr., and Carrie Moran Powell and husband Buddy.

A private burial will be held in Winter Garden.  A memorial service is planned for a later date.
