William "Bill" Russell Wright

Franklin, NC - William "Bill" Russell Wright, age 70, of Franklin, NC passed away July 01. 2014 at Emory University Hospital. He was born in Mercer Co., NJ, the son of the late Russell and Katherine Hansen Wright. He was a security guard for the Cullasaja Club and was a member of the Union United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary June 6th, 2014. He was a child of Our Father in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Skinner Wright; his daughter, Samantha Wright Messer and husband, Steven; his son, William Russell "Rusty" Wright II and his wife, Rosalind; grandsons, Byron, John Ashton & Dylan; granddaughter, Alleda Kay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janis Ann Wright Weaver.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 5 at 11:00AM at Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Janet Greene officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bill's honor to the Macon County Humane Society, Po Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
