Yvonne Bryson

Yvonne R. Bryson 64, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016. Yvonne was born November 30, 1951 in Macon County to the late Charles “Chick” and Mildred Bryson. She worked many years until her retirement at Nantahala Power and Duke Energy; She was a member of St. Cyprian Episcopal Church where she worked with the youth; she had a passion for civil rights and later help develop the Human Relations Council; she was very involved in the development of the Wesley Memorial Park in Franklin; but most of all she loved to shop.

Survivors include her daughter, Jada Bryson of Franklin; a sister, Bobbie Bryson of Franklin; and a brother, Walter “Bert” Bryson of Maggie Valley, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Eugene Bryson, Ted Ledford, and Tommy Bryson.

A memorial graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the St. Cyprian Episcopal Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dorrie Pratt officiating. A reception will follow in the Parrish Hall at the church.
