Blanche Brooks

Blanche Seagle "Mamaw Elliott" Brooks, age 96 of State Road, North Carolina, passed away January 22, 2021. She was a native of Jackson County, the daughter of the late Lon and Artie Jones Seagle. She was a homemaker and a home childcare giver. She loved to plant flowers, cook for her family, and loved holiday "get togethers". She married Naaman Elliott

December 22,1945, they were together for 44 years. He passed away January 14, 1989. They were members of First Baptist Church in Franklin, NC. She married Rev. Abe Brooks on

August 22, 1998, they were together for 12 years. He passed away in 2011. They were members of Rockdale Baptist Church in Whittier, NC.

She is survived by a son, Jackie Elliott and wife Barbara; a daughter Gail Cabe and husband Steve; three grandsons Jason and wife Denise; Joby and wife Karen; and Wayne. Three great grandsons Justin, Dakota, and Dillon; three great granddaughters Jena, Kenzie, and Joley; one great great-grandson Kye and one great-great-granddaughter Perrin. God blessed her with two loving, Godly husbands, and two loving families. She loved God, loved her families, loved people, enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Memorial services will be held January 30 at 12 pm at the grave site in Woodlawn Cemetery, Franklin, NC. with the Rev. Steve Reeves officiating.
