Christine (Hall) Gaskins

Christine Hall Gaskins, 89, of Franklin, NC, died Tuesday December 5, 2023 at the Macon Valley Nursing Center in Franklin.

She was born August 26, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Plemon Hall and the late Olif Joiner Hall. She was a homemaker and member of the Abundant Life Church of God in Valdosta. She was the widow of Walter Denzil “Denny” Gaskins who died in 2011 and was also preceded in death by a sister: Betty Jean Cowan and 3 brothers: James L. Hall, Willie B. Hall and Carol Lee Hall.

She is survived by a daughter: Lisa (John) Kumpik of Valdosta; son: Danny (Doris) Gaskins of Enigma; 5 grandchildren: Melissa Davis, John (Allison) Kumpik, Jr, Rachel Gaskins, Jason (Shannon Bailey) Kumpik and Danny (Katie Black) Gaskins, Jr; 2 great grandchildren: Stacie (Tanner) Fender and Jadyn Kumpik; 3 great great grandchildren: Braden Fender, Kaylee Fender and Maybree Fender; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday December 9, 2023 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside cemetery.  Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
