Cora Pearl Holland

Cora Pearl Holland, age 89, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023.  She was born September 13, 1933 in Macon County, to the late James and Laura Gregory Ammons.  Mrs. Holland was a homemaker and had worked as a nurse's aid at Grandview Manor and at Van Raalte.   She was a Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lemie William Holland; brothers, Fred Ammons, Harrison Ammons, Parker Ammons and James Ammons; sisters, Lelia Adams, Bertha Robinson, Minnie Hollifield, Rhoda Price, Mamie Stiles and Clydia  Ammons.

She is survived by her son, William Mark Holland and his wife, Pam of Summerville, SC; grandson, Jacob William Holland of Summerville, SC; sister Myrtle Frisbee of Sedro-Wooley, WA.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Burial will be at Ellijay Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 prior to the service at the funeral home.
