Mrs. Cynthia Queen Griffin, 79, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Griffin was born December 7, 1941 in Macon, Co. to the late Ralph Queen and Grace Owenby Queen. Mrs. Cynthia was a retired registered nurse working in the VA Hospital in Tampa, FL. She loved to do sowing, quilting, gardening, planting flowers, and painting beautiful art. She was also a member of the Bethel Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in the choir, and loved to help with church meals and dinners.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Griffin of the home; a son, David Griffin and his wife, Silvia of Topton, NC; three grandchildren, Isabella Griffin, Rylynn Griffin, and Ashlynn Griffin; and a brother, J.D. Queen of Andrews, NC.
