Dorothy Imogene (Ledbetter) Justice

Mrs. Imogene Ledbetter Justice, 88, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022. Mrs. Justice was born January 2, 1934 in Macon, Co. to the late Robert Ledbetter and Ethel Rhodes Ledbetter. She was married to the late Howell Justice who preceded her in 2007. Imogene loved to do many projects by painting pictures, crocheting, quilting, and cooking good country dishes. She loved her family and was loved by many people.  She was a member of Union United Methodist Church serving in the choir, and as a Sunday School teacher. 

Survivors include her son, Steven M. Justice of Franklin, NC; a granddaughter, Hallie Driver and husband, Bill; three great- grandchildren, Joshua Scott, Emery Driver, and Owen Driver; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Imogene was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine J. Scott.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Union United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Knoll Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:15 pm Saturday at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home & Crematory prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Vance Ledbetter, Nathan Ledbetter, Matt Ledbetter, Bill Driver, Harold Justice, Doug Cabe and Gene McDonald.
