Elma June (Brock) Tallent

Elma June Tallent, 82, passed away December 31, 2023. She is now walking and talking with Jesus.  She was born June 4, 1941, in Pineville, KY to the late Elmer and Belva Brock. 

She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.  She had worked in housekeeping at Angel Medical Center until her stroke in 1993. June loved taking rides in the golf cart on her and Mack's property with her granddaughters.  She loved listening to stories or events that happened in her families' lives.  She may have not said much, but she was definitely listening.  She adored cooking for her family whether it was a sandwich or a five-course meal.  She enjoyed sitting outside with her family, especially if something was on the grill.  She loved watching westerns while doing her crossword puzzles.  She helped her family any way she could, all of her life here on earth and will continue until reunited in heaven.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, David Mack Tallent; siblings, Rosetta Brock, Herman Brock, Arnold Brock, Tish Brock, Wanda Brock and a set of twins that passed at birth.

She is survived by her children, James Brock and Gina Tallent; grandchildren, Ashley Hall and Husband, Joey, and Sara McDonald; great-grandchildren, Ellie Hall, Brodi Hall and Gracie Hall; three siblings, Byon Brock (Kay), Herb Brock, and Elmer Brock; her extended family who she cherished and loved, Dwayne, Amy, and Dayne Cabe and Eddy McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will have a private service to honor and celebrate June's life.
