Evelyn Beth (Behm) Stone

Evelyn Beth Stone, 82, passed away Monday September 19, 2022 in Franklin, NC. Evelyn was born November 21, 1939 in McPherson, Kansas to the late Arthur and Ruth Behm. She was one of four children. Evelyn met Henry “Buddy” Stone in San Diego where he was stationed in the Navy, and they were married in 1959. Over the years, Evelyn, Buddy and their three boys lived across the United States in California, Colorado, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Florida, and Alabama. Evelyn was an interior decorator and always active in her church.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Bryan Stone and his wife Cheryl of Boston; her son, Darren Stone of Standish, Maine; a daughter in law, Janice Say Stone of Tullahoma, TN; her grandson, Joshua Stone of Hayesville, NC; siblings, Judy Bolton of El Cajon, CA and Robert Behm of San Diego, CA.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Thursday September 22, 2022 at the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Reed officiating. A receiving of friends and family will be at 6:00pm Wednesday September 21, 2022 at Bryant Grant Funeral Home.
