Obituary
George Andrews, 72, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday May 4, 2022. He was born November 4, 1949 in Baltimore County, Maryland to the late Joe and Mary Martin Yalich. Mr. Andrews was a program manager, and had worked for Oak Ridge National Lab and for General Motors. He was a Catholic by faith and he loved painting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Goodier; a son Ahren Andrews of Stanley, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Andrews, two sisters, Mary Wetmore and Bernadette Bertsch and a brother, Tim Yalich.
No services are planned at this time.
