Gladah T Lawson

Gladah T. Lawson, 93, of Franklin, NC, passed away July 24, 2022.  Gladah was born May 15, 1929, in Decatur County, Indiana to the late William Tatman and Martha Helen Myers Tatman. She was a homemaker and loved the simple things in life.  She loved reading and flowers. She loved to collect owls and angels.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.   Mrs. Lawson attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Otto, NC. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lawson, who died in 1990; a daughter, Martha Collins and a brother, Harley Tatman.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sandefur of Otto, NC; grandchildren, Darlena Wright, Michael Sandefur, David Sandefur, John Adams, Josh Adams, Jason Adams, Jeremy Adams and Angela Carrothers; great-grandchildren, Tyler Wright, Destinee Wright, David Carrothers, Alexia Carrothers, Nicole Adams, Chad Adams, Caroline Adams, Owen Adams, Jacob Sandefur, Kaitlyn Sandefur and Faith Adams; two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon Wright and Killian Lawson; one nephew, Kerri Tatman.

A graveside service will be held August 10, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Milford Cemetery in Milford, Indiana.

Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Lawson family with local services.
