Jackie Sylvester Elliott

Jackie Sylvester Elliott, 76, of Franklin, NC, passed away October 8, 2023. 

He was born November 9, 1946 in Jackson County, NC to the late Naaman and Blanche Seagle Elliott. Jackie was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War as a medic and was awarded the Silver Star and a Purple Heart for his service. Jackie earned his Bachelor's Degree and worked in the medical field.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann McKee Elliott; a son, Wayne Elliott of Asheville, NC; a sister, Gail Cabe (Steve) of St. Road, NC; two nephews, Jason Cabe of Stoney Point, NC and Joby Cabe of St. Road, NC.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery with military honors.
