Mr. James "Conrad" Henry, 86, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024. Mr. Henry was born November 30, 1937, in Macon, Co. NC to the late Grady James Henry and Eula Edna Houston Henry.
He was a lifelong native of Macon, Co. Mr. Henry worked and retired as a builder in construction. He was a faithful charter member of Bible Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and was the church treasurer. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He loved making picture frames for the families that Bryant-Grant Funeral Home was serving.
Survivors include his sister, Stella Young of Franklin, NC; two brothers, Riley Henry (Wanda) and Warren Henry (Sue) all of Franklin, NC; a brother-in-law, Richard Cook of Franklin, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Henry was preceded in death by two sisters, Lydia Conley and Carrie Cook.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2024, in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Shuler officiating. Burial will follow at Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Henry, Shawn Marcie, Tyler Holland, Ryan Conley, Justin Willis, and Jonathan Keener.
