Obituary
Jimmy Houston, age 71, of Highlands, NC, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. He was the son of the late Don and Mary Houston of Highlands. Mr. Houston was a brick mason. He was a wonderful man and the best brother ever! In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Later he enjoyed spending time with his cat Josie, listening to gospel and country music and sitting on the porch waving at passer byers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Gary and Robert Houston and one sister, Betty Henry. He is survived by one brother, Wiley Houston (Dianne) of Franklin, three sisters, Shirley Murphy (Tom) of Ohio, Donna Houston of Highlands and Kathy McConnell of Franklin, NC.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
