Mr. John Williamson Wilson, 69, of Franklin, NC passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Mr. Wilson was born February 24, 1954, in Athens, Ga to the late Earl Wilson and Jon Helen Williamson Wilson. He owned and operated Wilson Towing for more than 20 years. He was an excellent race car driver and loved really fast cars. He was of the Presbyterian faith. John was a beloved, good, kindhearted man that will be missed by his family. He was well loved by everyone.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carol Wilson of the home; one brother, Buster Wilson and his wife, Mary Jean Wilson, sister-in-law, Gail Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to John's parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buck Wilson.

A private service will be held at a later date.
