Josephine (Willis) Dalton

Josephine Dalton, 96, of Franklin, NC, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019.  She was born February 6, 1923 in Monticello, KY, to the late Steven Clayborn Willis and Pearl Denny Willis.  Mrs. Dalton was a homemaker, and a loving mother, grandmother and great‑grandmother.  She was a very sweet and lovable lady, she loved everyone and everyone loved her.  She was of the Pentacostal faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston S. Dalton, sister, Mary Neal and brother, Paul Willis.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Vitatoe of Franklin, NC; son, Randall Dalton of New Castle, Indiana;  granddaughers, Sherry Vitatoe of Greenville, SC, Amber Reed and Amy Dalton both of New Castle, IN; grandsons, Billy Vitatoe of Virginia, James Dalton and Joseph Dalton both of Florida; numerous great‑grandchildren and two great‑great‑grandchildren, Hayleigh Kunde of Franklin, NC and Amikin Dalton of New Castle, IN; sisters, Louise Guffey and Viola Stinson both Indiana; brother, William Willis of Indiana. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
