Linda Davis Obituary

Linda Jane Fry Davis, 73, of Kannapolis, NC passed away January 30, 2021. She was born April 5, 1947 in Spangler, PA to the late Leland B. Fry and Mrs. Margaret Hopkins Fry. Linda loved Sunday drives and traveling through the mountains. Working in the restaurant business, Linda enjoyed cooking and visiting small diners across the U.S. while traveling. She also enjoyed going to the casino's and loved her dog Wilson. She was of the Christian faith.

Linda is survived by her husband, Russell Jay Davis of the home; her mother, Margaret Hopkins Fry of Kannapolis, NC ; two sons, Shadd Westover (Amy) of Kannapolis and Shane Westover (Tuyet Mai) of Kannapolis; a daughter, Staci Westover (Clayton) of Westover, PA; three sisters, Sandra Martin, Doris Matthews and Sharon Lydic; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by a son, Shawn O'Brian Westover; a grandson, Adam Westover; and a brother, Leland "Lanny" Fry.

A memorial service will be held in the spring of the year.
