Mary Sue (Stanley) Ledford

Mary Sue Stanley Ledford, 84, of Franklin passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Luna Franks Stanley. She was married to Don Ledford who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ledford was, along with her husband Don, a local business owner and she loved gardening. She was Baptist by faith and was a member of Longview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Castle of the home; sons, Donald Edward Ledford (Pam) of Franklin and Michael Dale Ledford (Jema) of Santa Fe, New Mexico; grandchildren, Michael Cabe of Otto, Daniel Brandy Cabe of Forsyth, GA and Mandy Body of Melbourne, FL; 10 great‑grandchildren, and three brothers, Chester Stanley, Robert Stanley and Harold Stanley all of Franklin.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters, Bonnie Holbrooks Anderson and Jean Ellen Stanley and brothers, D. C. Stanley, James Stanley, Leroy Stanley, Cecil Stanley, George Stanley, Frank Stanley, Bill Stanley and Fred Stanley.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
