Muriel Heden Kolb, a longtime resident of Highlands passed away July 22, 2019 after 95 years of a wonderful life.
She is most remembered for her work as the librarian at Highlands School from 1977 to 1990.
Muriel’s lifelong passion was for art and classical music. She created pastel and watercolor paintings and was a member of the local group of artists, Studio Alive.
She enjoyed traveling and volunteered with the eco-travel organization Earthwatch Institute.
Heartfelt gratitude goes out to the excellent and compassionate caregivers from Care-Partners Hospice of Franklin and at Fidelia Eckerd Living Center where she spent her last months.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Highlands Biological Foundation.
Private interment of ashes will be at a later date.
