Wallace Gene Hardin

Mr. Wallace Gene Hardin, 87, of Franklin passed away, Sunday, August 13, 2023.

Mr. Hardin was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 6, 1936, to the late Jeff Clay Hardin and Grace Mathis Hardin. Wallace worked in transportation, real estate, and owner of a restaurant. He was on the board of Directors of the HOA in Highlands Park. He was very active at the Crawford Senior Citizens Center. Friends with Bill W. for 40 years. He had a love for baseball, golf, and tennis. He attended Franklin First United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Evans (Michael Glenn); three grandchildren, Lyndsey Buckle (Evan), Amy Schaet (Shawn), and Sarah Parker (Payton); four great-grandchildren, Bradyn Buckle, Everette Buckle, Ethan Buckle, and Tristan Parker; and a brother, Gary Hardin (Susie).  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Lillian Hardin and Margaret Hardin; a daughter, Denise Hardin; a son, Derrick Hardin; and a brother, Clay Hardin. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Franklin with the Rev. Vic Greene officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
