Dennis,

there is not a day or minute that goes by that I don't think about you. I love you and miss you more than you will ever know. I know we will meet again but it is almost unbearable until that time. Know that I love you with all my heart.

Always and forever, your loving wife, Connie.

Connie,

I send you my condolences. I am deeply saddened to hear about Dennis. The world was definitely a better place with him here. I am happy to have worked with Dennis during my years at Blue Cross as I considered Dennis a good friend. He will be missed.

What a great picture of Dennis and that is just how we are all going to remember him... smiling and with laughing eyes.

We all seem to agree that he was one of a kind and a treasure of a friend. We have his sister Barbara to thank for introducing you guys to us some 5-6 yrs. ago. It seems as if we have known you all of our lives. That's just the way you both treated us and it seems everyone else. We felt so at home when we visited your beautiful mt. home and always looked forward to your trips to Ft. Lauderdale. Our last trip there was highlighted with a tour around to meet neighbors in your 'gator'. We'll hold on to the good times.

Dennis was always concerned that everyone was having a good time. He was always thinking of others.
We are so sorry that you and your family are going through this sorrowful time. It was very evident that he loved you with all his heart.

God bless you both, now and always..you are much loved

Toots and Jack

This message is for Connie Seagle.

Connie, this is Rick Simmons speaking for both Lisa and myself. We have some wonderful memories of time spent with both yourself and Dennis, and as I'm sure everybody is saying to you, he was just a great guy with a big, giving heart. I've thought of so many funny conversations we had regarding everything from his skiing and skiing accidents, to having "one beer, maybe two beer" and putting a "pig in the ground". Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you move forward with your future, and we just wanted you to know we were thinking of you and to extend our condolences.

Connie,

I just don’t know what to say. I love you and I miss you, and I am praying for you so hard right now. You have been there for me when I needed it, and I just want to be there for you right now. I know that the hardest part is going to be to try and stay strong and keep faith that everything that happens in life is all part of GOD’s plan. We don’t have to understand it or even like it! Just hold tight to the love you have for your husband, and don’t let it go. Getting caught up in the “Whys” or “What Ifs” will just eat you up inside. You have told me that very same thing before. Any time you talked about him I could see that love in your eyes and hear it in your words. Just try and hang on to the wonderful things you remember to try and make it thru this terrible one. I am saddened to hear when anything bad happens to someone I know, even if it is a family member. But I am truly hurting for you right now, and I know that so many other people are as well. I know how much you care about others that you wear your heart on your sleeve. I remember sitting in your office right before I changed departments, and every time I would cry, you would either tear up or just cry with me. You helped me get thru so much more than just making a big switch back to my old department. You might not have known it, but you were helping me with so many other aspects of my personal life by just listening and caring. I just want to make sure that you have someone to cry with you right now. I wish you were here, so I could give you a big hug and just cry with you. I love you Connie. I am praying for you and your family.

Sharing

There isn't much that I can do,
But I can share my bread with you,
And sometimes share a sorrow.

There isn't much that I can do,
But I can share my flowers with you,
and I can share my books with you and
sometimes share your burdens.

There isn't much that I can do,
But I can share my hopes with you.
And I can share my fears with you
And sometimes shed some tears with you.

There isn't much that I can do,
But I can share my friendship with you,
and I can share my life with you
and often times share a prayer with you.
