Dear Elaine, Hope
and I were so sorry to hear about Jerrys death. We
were in Highlands over the weekend and everywhere I looked in the cottage I could
see Jerrys craftsmanship. He was a gifted and skilled person, and we so
much enjoyed having him involved in various projects at our home over many years
and having him as a friend. In
addition to being an excellent craftsman, he was also a warm, generous and enjoyable
person and a man of the highest integrity. Our lives are better for having
known Jerry. Our
thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Love, Hope
and Sam Harrison

Jerry Tilson Family | |
Dear
Elaine, Gaby, Jessica and David, Please accept my heartfelt condolences. There
are no words to bring comfort in or through the pain. At some point in our own
sadness we realize that missing them though so hard and challenging is better
than wishing them back to their place of illness. I know with my own dad, a carpenter
and builder, that although he never would have wanted to leave just yet, he couldn't
stay. I know that the journey has been difficult and somehow we just have to keep
faith in believing that this too is in God's plan for us...perhaps to find that
deep well of strength we never knew we had or maybe to just learn how many dear
and abiding friends we have who do want to help ease the pain. I am glad that
I had the opportunity to get to know Jerry in his comings and goings with Gaby
at Carpe Diem. I remember his quiet spirit and his smile and most of all the love
he demonstrated for his family. May God wrap you in his loving warmth and
hold you in the palm of his hands. With
love, Sue Blair p.s.
I am available to help in any way I can. |
