Elizabeth A. MillerMay 6, 2017
Elizabeth A. Miller, 55, known as "Angel" to all of her friends and family, was granted her Angel Wings on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by her beloved boyfriend, David Crume and generous caregivers, Tina Scott, Pamela McCall, Cassady Ledford, Amanda Thurmond, Stephanie Morgan, Jamie Thomas and Joey Gibson.
Elizabeth was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was the eldest of three siblings, Bernadette Miller, Cheryl Hamblet, and Carl Clark. Survivors include her foster mother, Paula Proskauer and foster siblings, Michelle, Marcel and Joseph Proskauer. She was preceded in death by her foster father, Joe Proskauer. She was of the Baptist faith.
Elizabeth's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
She really enjoyed living in the country, collecting owl memorabilia, and she was an avid bingo player. She loved to cook and barbecue in summer months and worked as a waitress in Chicago.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Vic Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
