I am grieved to learn of the passing of my ex-roommate! He was a great guy to be around I remember when tings would get dreary, Nib would get his guitar down and we would sing the old songs. We were in each others wedding parties. way back in 1952. I am so sorry that time and the circumstances of military service prevented us from seeing more of each other. My condolences to each member of his family. id bless you!

I was saddened to discover that Emmett had passed and wanted to send the family my heartfelt condolences. My father Lyle was a childhood friend of Emmett and I believe they graduated from Biloxi High together in 1946. Mr. and Mrs. Niblack visited a few times and my father always looked forward to those visits. Lyle travelled on in 09 having just made 80. I believe they both had full wonderful lives and though our missing them is a sad time it is also a celebration of our love and shared lives.

Blessings, Paul

I was so blessed to have known Mr. Niblack. He and his wife Jolene were always so hospitable to my mother Marna Cobb Chalker, and myself whenever we would be up to visit. I was so impressed to read about his many honors. He had such a great sense of humor and would always be joking around, which was a lot of fun. It was awesome being able to learn about all the fun times Nib, my Mom and their childhood friends would have in beautiful Highlands. My love and prayers go out the NIblack family during this time.
