Dear Creighton, I have no clue what my life would be like without you and Frissy. I will carry your gracious and welcoming spirit with me wherever I go and will pass it on as best I can to anyone in my way. So deeply grateful for all of your gifts. To be continued, my dear friend....

I am without words, creighton my sweet friend, I will miss you so much, the concern you always had for me and my family was touching. I always loved to come to work for you and frissy, I did it to see you both not for the job. My heart is broken missing you already!! Rest my sweet friend, until we meet again.

At a time when I felt very isolated in rural Arizona, Creighton helped to connect me new world of people and ideas. He was a good friend, with wry sense of humor, and a fine scholar. Although I did not see him much in recent years, he always made it it a point to spend time together when he was able to come to HIARPT meetings.

I had so many questions left to pose to you and so many anticipated conversations left to savor. I suppose we'll have to postpone those until later. Till then ... Creighton.

Creighton was a wonderful leader who had a decisive impact on my professional life and that of many others. It was amazing what he was able to get done.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. One of the most difficult things we have to deal with is the death of a loved one. The Bible promise; "God is close to the brokenhearted." IT also says; "Throw your burden on God and he will sustain you." (Psalm 34:18 and 55;22) I hope this message offers comfort in your time of sadness.

What a wonderful character Creighton is. I remember him placing his hands on my head and making me a member of HIARPT in 2000.

Creighton, my one-man committee who always got it done. The best Alcatraz cell mate I ever had. Farewell.
